Alex is based in Orange County, California, with regular guest spots in Colorado.

The Approach
Rather than taking every request that comes through, Alex focuses on projects where he can deliver the strongest possible result.. This selective approach allows for a higher level of creativity, attention to detail, and overall execution on every piece.

Focused On Finished Work
The goal is not to rely on future touch-ups or corrections. Each tattoo is built to heal cleanly and hold its structure from the beginning, with careful attention to saturation, contrast, and readability.

Custom Design Process
Every design is approached with careful consideration of the client’s idea, anatomy, skin, placement, and long-term wear. Rather than forcing a concept onto the body, each project is developed to create the strongest possible result both artistically and technically.

Honest Project Planning
Not every idea works at every size or placement. Alex provides honest recommendations on composition, scale, and design choices — even when that means suggesting changes to the original concept. The priority is always the quality of the finished tattoo, not simply saying yes to every request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about pricing, deposits, scheduling, and project estimates before booking.
How Much Does a Tattoo Cost?
Full-day sessions (7 hours) are $2,100. Hourly sessions are available at $400/hour for smaller projects (up to 4 hours). Guest spot and convention sessions are $2,500 per full day.
Cash, Zelle, and Venmo are accepted. Card payments are available with a 3% processing fee.
Is A Deposit Required?
Yes. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve each session date. The deposit is applied toward the final cost of the tattoo. Appointments may be rescheduled once with at least 7 days notice.
Do You Tattoo Cover-Ups?
Yes, but not every tattoo can be covered successfully. Some projects may require multiple sessions, a larger design, or laser removal before tattooing. Cover-up options are evaluated individually after reviewing photos. For more information about the cover-up process, visit the Cover-Up page.
Do You Use Numbing Cream?
Numbing creams are generally not recommended, especially for color realism work, as they can affect the skin and healing process. A topical comfort spray may be used during the session when appropriate.
How Many Sessions Will My Tattoo Take?
Every project is different, but typical estimates are:
-
Forearm (one side): 1–2 sessions
-
Upper arm or lower leg: 2 sessions
-
Full arm sleeve: 6–9 sessions
-
Full leg sleeve: 10–15 sessions
-
Full back: 6–9 sessions
A more accurate estimate is provided after reviewing your idea and references.
How Does The Design Process Work?
The design process begins with your reference images and project description. Photos, artwork, screenshots, existing tattoos, and other visual references can all help communicate your idea. After reviewing your submission, Alex develops the project around your concept, placement, and long-term goals. The final design is presented on the day of the appointment, and minor adjustments can be discussed if needed.
How Should I Prepare For My Appointment?
To help ensure the best experience, avoid tanning before your appointment, stay well hydrated, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a full meal before you arrive. Wear comfortable clothing and bring snacks and drinks if you're scheduled for a longer session. There’s no need to shave the tattoo area beforehand.
